I've kind of struggled with what to write for this one which is why the post has kind of been a long time coming. I could say the usual things that it was a night to remember filled with good friends past and present etc. but we all know that. It was one of those nights where the love was heavy in the room and the appreciation as well. So I guess what I want to say is a big thank you to everyone who has ever been involved with Jack Brown's. Thank you to the men and women who keep that place running. Who break their backs sitting in those chairs tattooing and getting tattooed. The dedication to their craft to continue putting out work that is quality and meaningful just as much to the artist as it is to the person getting it. It is a labor of love that I have had a front row opportunity to watch and discuss with each individual and the one thing you will find in all of them is passion. The passion to create work that will outlast themselves and propel the industry that they are in forward. Each one of the people in that shop is committed 100% to what they do and that is a gift that I will forever be grateful they have chosen to share with all of us. Not only do they put this passion into every drop of ink, but back into their community as well. Back to the people that helped shape what a phenomenal shop it has become. With so much accomplished in ten years, it's very exciting to see what the next ten will hold.
