I spent a couple of months lurking around the back of house of Sammy Tâs restaurant during the pandemic. A restaurant is a lot like cooking. The proper people make up the right ingredients and give the overall dish, or in this case feel of the restaurant, its specific flavors, etc, but each piece individually is still unique. In a time where people are rediscovering the time to connect with things and people close to them, food plays an important role. It was clear that the people here understand that and that they also use this place as a second home to be able to deal with everything that has become so different in the past year. It was great to be let into this world and even better to get to know some of these people a little bit more.
